Dot Peen Marking

Known also as pin markingDot Peen Marking is a marking process where an electro-mechanically controlled carbide or diamond tip assembly strikes the surface of a part in a succession of dots to create a permanent mark. Text, logos, and 2D Data Matrix codes can be marked on straight, curved or radial inscriptions.

  • Mark on soft or hard materials with flat or uneven surfaces
  • For accurate traceability and clear, permanent identification
  • Low-stress indenting
  • Adjustable marking depth for light or deep marks
