Known also as pin marking, Dot Peen Marking is a marking process where an electro-mechanically controlled carbide or diamond tip assembly strikes the surface of a part in a succession of dots to create a permanent mark. Text, logos, and 2D Data Matrix codes can be marked on straight, curved or radial inscriptions.
